Alison Renee
Alison has been performing elegant harp music for weddings and special events for over 18 years. Mixing classical, popular, and contemporary arrangements, she creates the perfect setting and ambiance.
Alison fell in love with the harp and began playing at the age of eight. She studied privately in her hometown of Washington DC and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in harp performance and psychology on scholarship at Roanoke College. Alison continued her harp studies at the University of Miami where she completed a graduate certification program in music therapy and performed on scholarship with the university orchestra and wind ensemble. During her time in Miami, Alison established a thriving music entertainment business, performing for countless events, both as a soloist and with chamber groups, orchestras, and bands throughout South Florida.
Alison currently resides in Brooklyn and continues to maintain a busy events schedule, performing for weddings and special events throughout New York City and surrounding areas. In addition to playing the harp, Alison is a licensed clinical social worker and board-certified music therapist.
