Alison has been providing elegant harp music for weddings and special events for over 15 years. Mixing classical, popular, and contemporary arrangements, she creates the perfect setting and ambience.
Alison fell in love with the harp and began playing at the age of eight. She studied privately for nine years in her hometown of Washington DC and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in psychology and music from Roanoke College. Alison continued her harp studies at the University of Miami while pursuing certification in music therapy. While living in Miami, Alison worked as a music therapist with a variety of client populations and established a thriving music entertainment business; performing for countless events, both as a soloist and with chamber groups, orchestras, and bands throughout South Florida.
In addition to playing the harp, Alison is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and board certified music therapist (MT-BC). Alison currently resides in Brooklyn and continues to maintain a busy events schedule and private therapy practice.
