Alison Renee Restak

Alison Renee Restak has been providing elegant harp music for weddings and special events for the past 10 years. Mixing classical, popular, contemporary, Celtic and folk arrangements, she creates the perfect setting and ambience. Alison averages 85 performances a year in Miami and surrounding areas.

Alison began playing the harp at the age of eight in her hometown of Washington DC. where she studied privately for nine years before completing her Bachelor Degree at Roanoke College in Virginia where she studied with harpist, Song-Hee Uhm. She went on to pursue a certification in Music Therapy at the University of Miami where she studied harp under Valerie VonPechy-Whitcup, former principal harpist with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and the Florida Grand Opera. Alison plays as a soloist and with chamber music ensembles in the Miami-Dade vicinity.
