Alison Renee Restak

Alison Renee Restak has been providing elegant harp music for weddings and special events for the past 12 years. Mixing classical, popular, contemporary, and Celtic arrangements, she creates the perfect setting and ambience.

Alison began playing the harp at the age of eight. She studied privately for nine years in her hometown of Washington DC before completing her Bachelors Degree at Roanoke College. She went on to pursue a certification in Music Therapy at the University of Miami and during this time, she began playing the harp on a regular basis for weddings, church services, social gatherings, corporate functions, art openings, theatre productions, and numerous other special events in the Miami-Dade vicinity. Her wedding music/ entertainment business grew rapidly to the point that she was booking over 85 harp performances per year. Alison was recognized by The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009 for her wedding business. Alison recently recorded with Thievery Corporation band.

Alison currently lives in New York City and is booking events in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester County, upstate New York and surrounding areas. Alison also travels to Miami/ South Florida on a regular basis and continues to book events there.

In addition to being a harpist, Alison is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Florida and New York and board certified music therapist (MT-BC).
